The Problem - Stats on men in America

Men today are attending church less than in the past.

  • Men today are the largest unreached people group In the country.
  • The typical US congregations draws an adult crowd that’s 61% female and 39% male

Men today are causing a majority of the problems In our society.

  • 90% of all major crime are by men.
  • 99% of all rapes are committed by men.
  • Men commit 95% of all burglaries.
  • Men commit 91% of all abuses to the family
  • 94% of all drunk drivers are men
  • There are 15 male prisoners for every female prisoner.
“My husband Adam attended his very first Men's Breakfast with the Men of Mariners Ministry. Since that time I have witnessed all the ways the Men's Ministry has radically impacted his life. I had prayed for many years that Adam would grow closer to God and to somehow be more connected to our Mariner’s community. Through Tim’s persistence and encouragement, Adam began attending monthly Men’s Breakfasts, and his first two Men’s retreats.

As he stepped into weekly Bible study, serving regularly, and becoming more involved with the Men's Ministry, I watched as my husband was transformed into a Man of faith; I watched as he grew closer to Jesus, learning to trust in Him and His plan for his life and for our marriage; I watched as he led our family in prayer for the very first time and listened as he shared his faith with our kids. For the first time in our 20 years together as a couple and as husband and wife, we prayed together, and he began to spiritually lead our family.

We are more connected to Jesus as a couple and as a family. Men need Men's ministry. Many times it can be difficult for Men to get involved and engaged. Tim is truly gifted in his ability to build community among men of all ages, various backgrounds, and stages in life.
